Chilli con Carne
Serves 4
Ingredients
1. 500g beef mince
2. 1 onion
3. 2 garlic cloves
4. 1 tbsp oil
5. salt and pepper
6. 1 tbsp paprika
7. 1tbsp chilli powder
8. 1 small chilli
9. 450g long grain rice
10. 400g chopped tomato
11. 400g of kidney beans

Method
1) heat up oil in pan on medium high heat and brown mince
2) slice onion,garlic and chilli
3) Start to boil water in separate pot with a tsp of salt
4) when mince is browned add the vegetables and cook them through adding chopped tomatoes
5) drain kidney beans and add to simmering sauce
6) when water is boiling add the rice and boil for 10 minutes or until soft
7) add salt and pepper to sauce, also add paprika, and chilli powder
8) drain rice and add to plate, top the rice with the beef and add a spoon of soured cream if wanted
Tasty Tip
1. Use chilli powder accordingly to taste
2. Top with tortilla crispsÂ
3. Put chilli con carne into wrapsÂ
4. Top with sour cream
5. The bigger the chilli pepper, the less spice it has
