Healthy eating tips from some of the foods that we used:
Fibre: in our recipes our ingredients such as green vegetables, lentils and chickpeas are great to boost your immune system and aid digestion.
Green vegetables: they keep you hydrated and helps boost collagen strengthening your skin whilst also helping hair growth. Roughage aids digestion making your stomach muscles move promoting a healthy body. They also have high levels of antitoxins again helping you live healthily.
This in turn promotes wellbeing which is why we included things like spinach, broccoli, kale to help everyone live a more healthy lifestyle.
Tomatoes are an ingredient often used in our cook book, they are a great source of vitamin C and potassium preventing signs of ageing and blood clotting whilst also providing a great source of natural sugar and energy.
Proteins: like salmon and leafy greens help give lots of vitamins such as vitamin A,C,K, folate, potassium, magnesium, iron and fibre. These are essential especially for children to promote healthy growth. Salmon is a great source of omega 3 with heathy fats that actually reduce the chance of getting a heart attack or stroke whilst also giving long lasting energy. Proteins are essential to keep up normal muscular function and by including it in meals it can help increase life expectancy.
Vitamins can be gained naturally with no added sugar through healthy meals. We hope that through these recipes you can kickstart your journey to a healthy diet and a healthy mind.
